Apple resellers are hosting a variety of sales that discount even new M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models by triple digits. Plus, save $100s on closeout laptops and M2 MacBook Pro 13-inch configurations.
Comparing prices across top retailers is easy when you visit the AppleInsider Apple Price Guides. Find exclusive coupon savings and instant cash discounts on nearly every Mac computer. Here's how to access the MacBook Pro-specific Price Guides, with some of 2023's best MacBook Pro deals going on today on both current and closeout models:
Of course, given this MacBook is so new, it's highly unlikely that we'll see any deals at this early stage. There is the outside chance of a very small discount at retailers such as Amazon or Walmart as we've seen this before for previous models. However, the odds are very low, so expect to pay full price for the next few months if you're interested in one of Apple's newest premium laptops.
Naturally, given this MacBook has only just been released, there are no deals available so far. We might see some discounts at select retailers in the weeks ahead, but if so, they will likely be very small - perhaps $100 / 100 max. Keep an eye on places such as Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy as these are the place most likely to offer a discount based on previous sales.
A cheap MacBook Pro is relative - these computers are by no means made for budget-minded shoppers. However, with MacBook Pro deals dropping more and more cash off these luxury laptops each year, there's certainly hope for picking up a discounted model these days. Whether you opt for a reduced entry level current gen laptop, or an older but refurbished model, you can find cheap MacBook Pros available for under $1,000 if you're shopping at the right time, or willing to drop enough new features.
MacBook Pro student discounts can also save you extra cash on your new laptop. Offers vary by country, but currently US students, school staff, and parents can save $100 on a MacBook Pro laptop, meanwhile in the UK you can save 10% on Apple products with the appropriate student ID. Combine this with Apple's (albeit rare) MacBook Pro sales and you're onto a hefty saving.
The MacBook Air from 2020 features Apple's M1 processor, which has an eight-core CPU, a seven-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. The M1 MacBook Air starts at $999 from Apple and features 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It lacks the Touch Bar (which could be viewed as a positive), and does have a 13.3-inch Retina display, Touch ID and the Magic keyboard. The step-up model costs $1,199 from Apple and doubles the solid-state storage to 512GB. You can save $120 on the 256GB model at B&H right now in silver. We can't find any discounts, however, on the 512GB model.
Although it's only been out for a few months, the new 14-inch M2 Pro MacBook Pro is available at hefty discounts at Amazon. The baseline 512GB model is $100 off, and you can save $200 on the 1TB model.
The baseline model of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro costs $2,499 and features Apple's latest M2 Pro processor (12-core CPU and 19-core GPU), 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The step-up model costs $2,699 and doubles the storage to 1TB. There's also an M2 Max model that costs $3,499 with a 12-core CPU, 38-core GPU M2 Max processor, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Right now is a good time to buy Apple's largest MacBook Pro. Both the 512GB model or 1TB model are discounted by $200 at Amazon, which is the biggest price break we've seen yet for either model.
Amazon and Best Buy tend to offer the best MacBook deals. The MacBook Air M1 and the MacBook Pro M1 tend to see from $50 to $250 off discounts. However, we've noticed that Amazon offers slightly better MacBook sales that its competitors. For instance, the M1 MacBook Air has dropped to $799 a few times at Amazon. Even the M2 MacBook Air has seen $200 off discounts at Amazon.
We're keeping our fingers crossed for even bigger discounts come Nov. 25, but no matter what the deals are, we'll be keeping this page updated with the latest and greatest deals. Check them out below.
It's a rarity that Apple products ever go on sale, much less for pricing as good as this. But Best Buy is having an amazing sale on MacBooks of all kinds right now, including select MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models. The sale is for everyone, but through the student deals program, some MacBooks see an additional $50 in savings on top of the already discounted prices.
Apple Watches are nearly always on sale, but Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales tend to offer the best pricing for them. We still like the Series 7, and it should be deeply discounted this shopping season, but we also recommend the new (and newly discounted) Series 8 and SE models for anyone seeking the most recent tech. We are even seeing small price drops on the sought-after Ultra.
If Amazon happens to be your online store of choice, the 2023 MacBook Pro models are available there in numerous configurations and for a discounted price. They're sold by Apple through Amazon, so it's guaranteed you will receive a genuine product.

Apple is offering a rare opportunity for businesses to buy MacBook Pro models in bulk at a steep discount. According to a new report from Bloomberg, businesses looking to buy the newest 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro can get as much as 10% off their purchase. The promo comes as Apple battles a forecasted drop in Mac revenue in the important holiday quarter.
If a business buys between 5 and 24 MacBook Pros, they will receive a discount of 8%. Businesses buying 25 units or more will get 10% off their purchase. The purchase can be any combination of 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro configurations. The promotion is set to run through December 24. 59ce067264
